The Building first known as “the Elton Block” was built in 1891 and was 3 stories tall, the third floor burned and was removed in the late 50’s. In the years The Building has housed many businesses that include the bus stop, local bar, Smiths Café and housed a bowling alley in the basement as well as provided housing for many souls on the second floor. This great building is now an artistic and unique place owned by James and Angela Albright.
Here you can rent the distinctive great room on the first floor for events such as: parties, art shows, recitals, auctions, small concerts, weddings, catered dinners, meetings, family reunions, book or poetry readings, small film premières and many other event ideas. Seating can be changed to fit your event and with extras you can design the perfect event for your family, company or group.
With your rental many extras may be purchased including having an event photographer or videographer and recorded onto a DVD with or without edit, streamed into the web live or after editing, use of our projection system, stage, dance lights and much more. You can charge entrance fees or have open doors.
Catering choices allow venue users to vary the menu to accommodate all tastes and budgets from burgers to gourmet.
