Flyer posted for our City Meeting
HELP
It is time for change in our city.
Our town is stagnant and in danger of dying.

We owe it to our children and grandchildren to enact change now.

A town that is in poor shape  offers nothing for their future.
We have high unemployment, high drop out rate, high teen pregnancy rate, high use and
manufacturing  of methamphetamines all of these things can be traced to a town under
the poverty level that is failing to thrive.

Until I was unjustly acted upon by the police at the direction of City Manager Philip
Eidson I paid little attention to our city government. When my story was printed in the
news paper and aired on the radio I started getting email, phone calls and people
stopping me on the street and telling me their stories. I was appalled at the numerous
stories I heard and the fact that Mr. Eidson was referred to as “King Philip” and it was
unanimously thought that this man could never be put out of his job, that he has it for life.
Philip Eidson does not have his job for life.
I am not saying all the faults in this city is to be placed on Mr. Eidson’s desk, but But
maybe he has been in charge for long enough.
Is it time to enact change for the better ?
We must look to Our New City Council and New Mayor to help our city.
If is the wish of the people
all it takes to remove the City Manager from office is a
majority vote by the city council
in a regular or special session.
There are provisions in the City Charter (available at city hall as part of the public
information act) for a temporary or interim City Manager to fill the job until a qualified
person can be found to fulfill to position.
We need your voice.

We will hold a public meeting at my building on

Saturday February 11 at 6 p.m.
For all People who care about the future of this town
